Design Team
full-time position | hybrid or fully remote
You have a passion for designing creative, forward thinking, and sustainable landscapes for commercial and residential spaces. You are driven to create unique and inspiring experiences through the use of foliage, have a go-getter attitude, love a hearty challenge, and have a fast-paced agency experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in design or landscaping role
- Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture, architecture, or related design field preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (Sketchup, Revit, Enscape) and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of plant material for the Ohio region and proper planting techniques
- Knowledge of hardscape materials for the Ohio region and associated installation techniques
- Knowledge of residential and commercial outdoor furniture and fixtures
- Experience with sustainable landscape design is preferred
- Experience with rooftop landscape design is preferred
- Conduct site visits
- Create freehand sketch, 2D drawings, and 3D renderings
- Produce outdoor space planning diagrams, architectural site plans, planting plans and associated details
- Identify, select, and specify landscape and hardscape materials
- Collaborate with internal teams, outside consultants, and clients via in-person and virtual meetings
- Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- Highly collaborative with a team-centric mentality
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
