Valerie loves elegant color combinations, serif fonts, and juxtapositions. With an appreciation for the Art Deco movement, her favorite design aesthetics combine raw woods and neutral colors with a hint of something bold. Nevertheless, she prefers palettes that include striking, bold tones paired with brushed metallics, creamy beiges, and black accents.
Recognizing that branding and signage are essential to Revival projects, Valerie collaborates with entrepreneurs to tell their stories through graphic design. Leading Revival’s brand identity and signage projects, her hybrid creative marketing position serves clients from concept to completion.
Supporting multiple departments, Valerie collaborates with teammates, consultants, and vendors daily to continue pushing projects toward completion. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a professional degree in Visual Communications. With a strong passion for learning and further developing her skills, Valerie dove into the world of 3D modeling. She expertly brings her signage to life, modeling them on buildings and in spaces, giving realistic views of the proposed design — and bettering the experience of Revival clients.
Beyond the job, she can be found on the lake soaking up the sun or tackling house projects with her husband, Nate, and little man, Dean. With an appreciation for Rock music, this creative would love to design a home for the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll herself, Pat Benatar.
